Hi all,
Just wanted to give you the latest results on the 3 vs 5 channel tests I have been doing on myself.

INR 3.2- 3 channel INR 2.6- 5 channel
This still interests me greatly.
After the holidays I will ask my Dr which one he prefers I use, as there seems to be a consistant
discrepancy between the two.
Is it more accurate to have 3 tests or just one?
Who has the answer to this question?
Bye,Gail

Hi Gail

Did you check with QAS? That is a large enough discrepancy to be concerning.

Personally, I would get myself tested at the lab. Take your kit along and run a double with each set. Afterwards you can weigh the options out with your MD.

I hope QAS will respond to this issue for those of you with the Protime.

Good luck and keep us posted.

I'm sure QAS will pop in here soon to help us out - I too am interested in the findings..

You are right, those results should not be out of that range. ITC said they are sending a box of the five channel, and also a box of the three channel. Gail was contacted and we will resolve this issue this week. Thanks for your post and have a happy new year.
