I was seen by the cardio this time and not the nurse practioner.
Cardio says everything is fine. He told me to quit the Vitamin E since I'm in good shape and the latest tests showed some increase risks with "E". My good cholesterol is still low, but no action to take.
He prefers running marathons to mountain hiking because of Coumadin and difficulty extricating me if there is a problem. Go figure. I think that he's biased because he was a distance runner in his youth. :D
My actual surgery anniversary was Saturday the 27th. It's a day I missed entirely, but will never forget. I celebrated with 15 miles :eek: of running. Oh yes, and some turkey soup.
