Another countryboy update!

On the way to the rambling man Cort Knightfan's reunion here in Dallas, Don, Trip, Katie and I stopped in at Presbytarian to check on Bobby (Countryboy). Wow! Was I impressed! I had just planned on giving his wife Michelle a shout to see if she needed anything, but she invited me right on in Bobby's room. He was already sitting up in a chair and looked great! As you probably already know, Bobby ended up with a porcine valve instead of the Ross, but he seemed well-adjusted to that and just very grateful that the surgery was a success. He is also very grateful for all of your words of support and your prayers. When I got there, I found out that Marsha (Catwoman) had already stopped by, too, so I think he was a little overwhelmed by his new V.R. kinfolk! :D And, no, I didn't take Katie into the CICU to see him. Even if they would have allowed her back there, I didn't think Bobby was quite up to that yet! :eek: Well, I'll let Bobby fill you in on all the gory details of his surgery once he gets home, which, if today is any indication, should be soon!

My butt is dragging tonight, but will try to post a pic of the Knightfanclub tomorrow - if my butt finds its way back home.
