If anyone would like to do the instant message thing through MSN feel free to put me on your buddy list. The only thing I ask is send personal mail through the VR P.M. Anyway, I am at BeatFeet26Pt@hotmail.com. Just go through MSN to set it up. Thanks. I just thought it would be sort of neat to discuss Active Lifestyles topics while where on line at the same time. Just a thought.

How do you feel today? Still sore..You inspired me so much that I went out and bought myself a pair of walking shoes. Easy Spirits..Put them on and walked a mile. They feel sooo good. Not tight, ect..That has always been my problem. Feet wide (old age spread) :p :p :p and never have found a good pair. I think these are it. :D :D The only thing is I have to pull them off..they are too hot to wear in house, ect.and I have to walk the dog a lot..so that means putting them on and taking them off. :D :D Bonnie

Hi Bonnie,
Actually I am doing a little better today. Still pretty stiff and sore. See I need you and Sue to massage my legs. ;) Careful there now! :p
Hey that is great about you getting those shoes. Remember, the hardest part is lacing them up and heading out the door. After a few months it becomes a habit like brushing your teeth. Thanks again Bonnie. Have a great evening.

Mark,
It sounds like a good idea for the IMing, but I couldn't get you added. I all ready have MSN and hotmail, but said you were on the not allow list. I told people at the swimming pool about your run this am (5). Many of them are runners and have done marathons and triathalons, but they were impressed with what you had done, and continue to do.

Thanks for the kind words and encouragement Mary. I am not sure why it came back to you as not allowed. I have MSN instant messaging.?? If you just go to add contact, you should just be able to put in my full e mail address. If not, send me yours through a PM and I'll try from my end. Thanks ... Mark BeatFeet26Pt2@hotmail.com (wrong IM address Mary. Here is the correction.)

I seem to be having a hard time from your end trying to put me on. Tom and Mary. Go ahead and anyone whom would like to add me, just send me a PM with your address and I'll add you. I can be found on BeatFeet26Pt2@hotmail.com or BeatFeet26Pt2@att.net I'm not sure what is up. I did open it up to other users. I see where I had it blocked.

Mark,
I tried your hotmail address also, but the email they send to notify you of my address came back to me as undeliverable. I can't imagine what the problem is. I'll try a PM.

Mark,
You'll never know what an inspiration you have been to many of us and continue to be.
I was sent this little "life note" and thought I would post it and and couldn't think of a better person to dedicate it to than to you...Thanks again Mark!! ;)
HOW TO STAY YOUNG
Remember, there is no way you can look as bad as that person on your drivers license.
1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight and height. Let the doctors worry about them. That is why you pay them.
2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.
3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain idle. "An idle mind is the devil's workshop." And the devil's name is Alzheimer's.
4. Enjoy the simple things.
5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.
6. The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person who is with us our entire life, is ourselves. Be ALIVE while you are alive.
7. Surround yourself with what you love, whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.
8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.
9. Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, to the next county, to a foreign country, but NOT to where the guilt is.
10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.
11. Don't sweat the petty things and don't pet the sweaty things.
AND ALWAYS REMEMBER:
Humpty Dumpty was pushed!
Have a Great Day,
Brian

Thank you Brian.
I don't always feel like an inspiration, but for some reason I was given a second chance. I'll tell you all something very personal. Before my surgery, I became very depressed. I was in a terrible mental rut. I actually prayed .... 'God, if you cannot change me, (basically because I felt so horrible about my life in general, and felt I had no purpose) then take me home. I guess God had other plans. Shortly after, I found out I would need heart surgery. I was a little worried because now I thought God really took my prayer serious! I am glad He did, and gave me a second chance to live. I am not perfect, and I fail. I can be sort of grumpy, and wish I was more 'Chirst like' in my faith, but I just keep taking one step at a time forward and reaching, trying not to look back and focusing on what is ahead. Thank you Brian for reminding me of that. God bless you ... Mark
PS I bet your pumped up about that hockey team! Poor Bunny and I are crying in our beer!
