Hank - If its easy-peasy for a person like you to do - would it be possible to have "Mark all forums read" at the bottom of each thread, so we don't have to go back to Home and then down to the bottom of the page.

Yes, I know I'm lazy :)

While we're on the subject of marking all forums read, I don't have this problem Hank. When I sign in and look at one new post, it then marks All Forums Read for me automatically for some strange reason.

Problem then is that I need to go searching to see what else has been posted since I've last been in.

Maybe my 'cookies' are up the left....any ideas?

I will check on having the ?Mark Forums as Read" link everywhere.

This is how I do it.

Whenever I leave the site, I first click on the "Mark all forums as read" link. Then I click on the "Log Out" link. By logging out, it causes your name to not show up on the lower left of the main forum page where it shows who is online.

Then when I go back to the site, I first log in. Then after logging in, I click on the "View New Posts" link. This then shows me the new posts since I last logged out. When I read a new post and maybe reply to something, I can always get back to the list of new posts by clicking on the little down arrow that shows up in the upper left corner of my browser next to the "Back" button. This brings down a little dropdown list and I select the item that ends with "Search" something or other. This whips me right back to the list of new posts. Then after I have read all of the new posts, I go back to the main forum page and click on the "Mark all forums as read" link again and then log out.

what I've been doing Hank. Only problem is that when I read the first new post sometimes I go back to 'home' to cross check on something and then find that the 'all new posts' menu has gone and all forums have been marked 'read.'

It may be a glitch in my computer, I dunno, just thought I would mention it in case anyone else was having the same experience.
