At the bottom of the page when I sign in it tells me that I have unread messages - that I can find - but then it also says "you have 8 total messages in all your folders"- what does that mean? Thanks for your help.

Hi Sharon-

Those are all your private messages. Go to the User CP section and look at all your private messages. Just click View all Private Messages. Change the days to look back from 10 days to the beginning and look at the Inbox and the Sent Items also. Then delete those that you don't want to save.
