I see that we have some new members facing surgery who haven't posted at all yet. We didn't used to have this information on the old system. I was wondering - if they register their e-mail address, does this mean they might like to be contacted. Or should we wait until they post a message.

[COLOR=darkblue]And the answer is I don't know, but if they have allowed thier E-mail to be viewed I would say it is OK to E-mail them.

Personally, I think it's best to leave them be. Some people may not be interested in the support nature of this group and may be using it as an information source only.

However, if there are any lurkers out there who are just a little nervous about posting or are unsure how to, I'm sure most individuals here would be happy to introduce you to the group if you would like to private message any of us.

To those silent members, keep your collective chins up!
