I was only able to attend the opening reunion activity
at GINO'S EAST and the gathering afterward at
HARRY CAREY'S.

It was great fun meeting everyone and being welcomed
into the group. Terrific organizational job, GINA.

Hank, hope you were able to make it over to see
Wrigley Field as you were planning.

The CUBS are one win away from the World Series.
HAY, HAY!

I just got off the phone with the crew. They all sound as though they're really enjoying themselves. It was great to talk to the few that I did. Rain, Mara, Janie, Gina, Paul, Dave, Billy, Cort....I think I got you all? They are a NOISEY bunch! :D

Joe, I'm sorry I didn't get the opportunity to meet you as I was unable to attend Thursday night's events. As Gina said, we'll keep you updated on local events...

Speaking of local events.... I mentioned to Gina and Lorraine today that I will look at my schedule and post some possible dates sometime soon for us Chicagoanites to get together..... We'll most-likely meet at a "relatively new" pool hall in Algonquin IL.... Not sure when I'll get to post the possibilities...but, I'm hoping by the end of this week.... SSSSOOO Stay Tuned :).

Ross...it was GREAT to talk with you the other evening. I wish you and Bonnie and hennsylee (err...I think I might've misspelled that...sorry, my friend) and Nancy/Joe and many others could've joined us....... As I mentioned in another post, if nothing else, maybe I'll catch up with ya'll on one of my famous road trips ;)

Cort it was a pleasure to talk to you also. Perhaps we will meet on one of your infamous road trips. You've been pretty close to me before, so I have no reason to think that you wouldn't be in the future.

Take care my friend,
Ross

Hi Gina , Cort & Joe
I am really sorry I did't get to tell everyone by. But my husband was in hurry to get home. I had a great time meeting everyone. Gina did a great job. I heard a lot of things about Ross. I hope to meet him some day. Everyone made you fell like you were apart of their family. I was worried my husband would get bored but he is already said he can't wait for Denver. Hank & Michelle are the nicest people you were ever want to meet. The weather was the best.It is nice to put faces with the names now.

Gina...absolutely we both were winners in that game ;). And, I'm looking forward to the next game, too!!!!! Heh, I used to think pool was "boring"...but, since I started actually playing...I can't quite get enough...win or lose :)

Sherrin...No worries...I'm just glad I had gotten your Ph# before you left so I could call to be sure all was well for ya :). And, I'm looking forward to my next trip to Nashville so I can hopefully stop and see you and your husband and HIS Chevy car collection :). Glad to know you had a great time...and got home safely!

Now Ross, what could we possibly say? Your just plain amazing.

We all appreciate the dedication and hard work you put forth. You had better than an honorable mention at the main dinner.

Love,

Joe, it was a pleasure to meet you Thursday. Wasn't the Pizza Wonderful? It was great fun to go to Haryy Careys afterwards, even though the Cubs didn't play that night. Just as well, there wasn't a TV in our dining area at Ginos East!:)

Ross, you forgot me. I talked to you too. I guess it's because I'm Low Rain now, not Lorraine! :D :D :D
It was wonderful talking to you even if I probably didn't make much sense. BTW: You did talk to Rain too, or now she's High Rain, cause she's Tall! :D :D

Cort, you and Gina played a mean game of pool there! I haven't played in years either, so I'm quite rusty. Glad it was Gina, not me! Of course I'll have to try a game with ya, when we meet in Algonquin!

Sherrin, I'm glad I met you and your husband. No he was not bored at all. He may of thought we were all crazy!:) Yes, we are all like family! Thats what its all about. We have that bond. Can't wait to see you again in Colorado!

Gina you did do a great job of co-ordinating all the eating places. They were easy to get to. Our subway rides were a real trip!
:D

All I can say is..... Thank You Hank and Michelle.

Sorry Lorraine. I was so tired when you all called and honestly I tried to remember everyone I spoke to, but the brain sort of stopped altogether shortly after I posted.

He he he, Low-Rain...try, to have a game with me? Wrong answer...you will play a game with me....and, if you are as "lucky" as Gina, you'll win after a marathon (pun intend...inside joke) game, too :)
