I am registered for the board from my home computer, but every now and then have an opportunity to check the board at work (have to admit I'm a bit addicted). However, I see no way of "loging in" on the page. Do I have to get another screen name for different computers, or is there a way to log in at remote computers (like when out of town and such)?
Thanks,
Hank

Howdy,
I log into the site from many different computers in different places. It should work the same no matter where you are logging in from.
When you go to http://www.valvereplacement.com/forums/ there is no login?
Let me know.

I will check again when I get to work. I haven't noticed one, and I THOUGHT I'd looked at everything. Probably going to be one of those "if it were a snake" kinda things.... I'll let you know.
Thanks!

Told you it would be a snake situation. :D I just didn't look in the right spot. I feel really silly now....

Don't worry about it. We all miss obvious things at least ten times a day.
I'm just glad you found it.

DON't feel silly etc.
It is one of the personality quirks of COMPUTERS. A computer sits there as "dumb as a stump" a maze fo copper, sand, and plastic just trying to make far more complex HUMAN BEINGS feel stupid, silly and useless.
Don't let them win.
They only exist for our satisfaction and use-not the other way around.
And never answer "Y" to "Ok to Format C:?"
That is an "in joke" for those of us who have answered "Y"es
Just like in flying we used to say "There are only two kinds of pilots--Those that HAVE and those that WILL" (relates to accidents, landing "gear up" etc. Well that holds for computers its just the nature of the beasts.
Have a great day.

How many pilots do we have on this forum anyway? I know of 4 now. How many aren't saying anything?
