Posting photos to the VR site

Hank and/or Mike---the 2 computer gurus.
I am just wondering if I can post photos to the new forums as a regular thread, not as part of my user ID thingy.
I thougt I might post one from the wedding.
Any thoughts on how to accomplish this.
Unless it is MS word, Excel, or pagemaker, I am lost.
