...I really like the INRatio. I did my weekly test this morning. I did it w/ both my new INRatio and my ProTime. Stuck finger, touched drop of blood to cell - boom....test performing successfully. Then squeezed drop of blood into the ProTime cup, placed in monitor to perform test..... air bubble error. Had to burn through 4 cuvettes before I finally got a valid test. That gets costly.

INRatio 4.2
ProTime 3.9
Closer than last week. I knew it would most likely be higher because I had to take some Aleve over the weekend for some sharp shoulder pain (digging out bushes Friday).

I actually find it fun to do a blood test. Maybe sounds a little strange but I get a huge satisfaction from being in control. The INRatio is so easy to use even if I need the capillary tubes. I feel like I did at 10 years old when I got my first chemistry set for Christmas. Playing with the INRatio is almost as much fun as creating purple smoke.;) :D ;) :D

Well, I guess I'm special!

Ross - eat your heart out, I'm having brussel sprouts for dinner! Purple smoke, brussel sprouts - can it get any better than this?

Gina I guess we'll have to get ahold of Beth Russell. She is our regional business manager. I don't know about you, but since we got jipped on purple attachments, I want blue too as a bonus.

I'll inquire about it. I wanted to call and check about software revisions anyhow. I guess I have one of the very first machines to hit the streets, so I'm wondering.

I didn't mention the latte attachment because I have never been a coffee drinker, so I haven't used it yet. However, I'll be really upset if the next generation comes with the martini shaker!

Well I did a survey for the company and I did mention a possible addition that could be built in, but honestly think what they have is way more then sufficient. The thought of a Martini shaker never occured to me at the time, so I don't think it'll happen.

Karlynn:

I'll bet that when I need to replace my ProTime 3, the INRatio will have:

1. latte maker
2. martini maker
3. margarita maker
4. and will come with a househusband to do all those chores you never get around to because being a lady of "leisure," you have to work to provide for those "leisure" activities.

What with robotics, it could happen. After all, these things are pricey, compared to glucometers!
