Dear friends: I caught a terrible cold!
Is there any known wrong interaction between any OTC product for cold and Coumadin?
Thanks a lot!

Bless you!
If you have high bp, nothing with pseudoephedrine (sudafed type stuff).
Watch out for anything with salicylates (aspirin-type stuff) - shouldn't take that with coumadin. That includes pepto bismol, fyi.
You're fine with guaifenisen (sp?) - robitussin, mucinex, etc. Nosesprays are fine.
If you don't eat, your inr may go up, so try to get food in you.
Best of luck.

For colds, I use a combination of 24 hour nasal spray, benadryl, tylenol, and Robitussin expectorant. These all seem to cover any symptoms I have and do not cause problems with coumadin.
