Flushed red face

Hello everyone:

I was wondering if any one else, post surgery, had this problem.

My husband lately looks like he has spiked his blood pressure. He is VERY red in the face, I'd say 80% of the time. I thought I had read somewhere that this was one of the symptoms of mitral regurgitation. Of course, he has already had his mitral valve replaced.

I had a flushed face for the first couple of days in the hospital post-surgery, but not since then.

When is his next doctor's appt? If not soon, wouldn't hurt to stop in for a check-up if you're concerned. Do you have a blood pressure thingy at home? You can get some nice automated "press a button" ones that are reasonably accurate.
