Hi friends!
I just thought I'd give you all an update on my progress. This coming Friday will be 17 weeks since my PVR in September. I saw my cardiologist last month, & it went very well. He was quite pleased with my progress ;) The echo that was done showed everything to be just fine. My right ventricle is now a full centimeter smaller than it was a year ago. Exactly the result we were hoping for! The tissue valve is functioning perfectly. I was taken off the *dreaded* amiodarone, & the coumadin as well. So far I have had no problems with Afib. I'm hoping that continues to be the case. No more being zapped with the paddles for this guy! I really feel I'm coasting down the other side of that mountain now. That "truck that hit me" 17 weeks ago is now just a memory I'll never forget. The pain factor is nearly gone now. I'm starting to enjoy going for walks. :D
Cheers,
George
