Heather's surgry went very well. The Dr. was unable to repair the valve so they put in a new one. She is doing well so far and we hope she will be able to come home in a few days. Thanks for all the support and she will be sure to up date you in the future.

Sam,

Thanks for passing along the good news! Sorry to hear that the surgeon wasn't able to fix the valve. I had surgery 6 weeks ago and the same thing happened to me...surgeon thought he could fix it, wasn't able to, and now I'm clicking away.

Give Heather our best wishes for her recovery. \

best,
Joe

Thanks for the info. Too bad the repair wasn't possible, but thank God there's an alternative! I hope her recovery goes smoothly.

What valve did she get?

Heather,
Glad to hear everything went well. If the Dr couldn't repair the valve to last the rest of your life, he may as well replace it so you won't have to go thru this again. Best Wishes! Welcome to the other side.

Glad the surgery is over for Heather. Now she has the fun of recovery to look forward to. Hopefully that means being treated like a queen. She will have to work to get better but also resting and being taken care of.

Hi everyone thank you for your thoughts and prayers. I can only be brief, I still on the oxy and a little out of it. Only four days in the hospital.
I have never had such a strong emotion of being blessed as I did when we pulled away from the hospital. GOD is good!:D
Has anyone heard form studly?

Heather,

Welcome home. You sure did get out of the hospital fast - congrats. Home never quite looks so good as when you get home after OHS.

Take care, remember to walk, breathe and rest.
