Just want to say thanks to PapaHappyStar for posting the great link by Ms. Miccioli. Am starting my on search since trying to get ready for legal battle re/ SS disability try. Am interested to know if any of our members have completed this and won. The feedback on this subject seems to be very sketchy and vague. Redhussy

Get a laywer who specializes in SS benefits. Just look in the phone book. It took my husband 4 years to get his disability benefits. We tried filing on our own..no luck..Then we got a laywer and it was only a matter of months. The cost is not that bad, they take a % of the first settlement and there is a cap as to how much they can get. It was well worth it. Save yourself a lot of frustration.
