It's over for me too!! I feel great! mitral valve repair has seen a new awakening with the advent of the DaVici machine. This proceedure was so less truamatic than anything I've ever thought possible. After five days I'm sitting here on the couch writing this. I can't believe it.

So happy to hear all is going well. HOWEVER, don't overdo it. Your body still needs to recover & your heart has a lot of mending to do. Take it easy, one day at a time & listen to the needs of your body. Would love to hear more details of your surgery.

Five days! Most of us were still trying to learn how to get out of bed without passing out. Good for you. Wish everybody's were that easy. Don't overdo, tho - and don't sneeze.

with robotic surgery it won't bother you at all! So thrilled things are going well. Have a wonderful New Year, remember not to overdo and take the pain medication as incisions will be sore for a while.
