GKTW poem

This from my high school friend who works with kids at GKTW. It also fits VR members. We are sisters and brothers.

We are so much alike

you and I,

Holding so much in common

with all humankind.

Nature's beauty, nature's bounty,

Human love and peace of mind:

All humans of infinite worth

together here on earth.

To survive we must help

and love each other

to keep our hope alive.



But I can't love you

Unless I know you,

And I can't know you

unless I cry.

We must open our hearts

to one another.

We are sister and brother,

you and I.

Yes, we can know each other,

if we cry.
