Thankful for Carrie

Isn't Carrie Underwood great? The country gal from Oklahoma who won "American Idol" and now has her first album out, "Some Hearts."

It does my mending heart good to hear her belt out "Jesus Take the Wheel," and other songs, including her new ones and country classics.

She's also a very pretty gal, but, wow, what a voice! Be watching for her tomorrow in the Macy's Thanksgiving parade.

The thought of watching her come out with country hits yet unwritten for many years to come is something I'm thankful for, something that "Some Hearts" mending will be living for.
