Hey you guys: How's everyone's training? I feel like I fell off for awhile due to hectic life-itis! I signed up with Carmichael's training system on line and am happily getting my ass kicked by a wonderful trainer who is hoping I won't die on her.( I assured her I wasn't going to be foolish and try to actually run FAST!) Let's pump each other up a little over this cold,long winter training: Report in!
Oh yeah, where is anyone staying for the Indy? It looks like hotels are filling up fast and I want to get an idea .

Laura - I am going to post the results of my second month under the other post I created but I am at the 10:30 mark now and will try to move down to the 10:00 pace during the next month - still limiting the running to 4 to 5 miles at a time. And don't sweat my pace - I have now concluded that I really can't have any big goals for next year's race and I am looking to this more as an opportunity to connect/make new friends/celebrate life and a springboard for training for fall 2006 half marathons. Happy Turkey Day.

P.S. I will be staying with a buddy as opposed to a hotel but will plan on dinner Friday night and celebrating after the race on Saturday!

I'm not running but will serve as the VR cheering section. I'd still like to meet you all for dinner if possible. BTW, I'm staying with my brother who lives on the Northside.
