I went to see my PCP today. (I'm pretty much OK as a 63 yeard old with diabetes and three kinds of cancer can be.) But the good news that has implications for this site was that he told me that he had recently had a review with his malpractice insurance company and they told him that they were glad that he was sending patients to an anticoagulation clinic because they do a better job than physicians at managing warfarin.

Somehow I'm not surprised about the findings on care.

Al, I'm glad to hear you are doing well. Keep it up. Also, at my Kaiser clinic I can follow all the patients I see on the computer who are on warfarin. They are managed by pharmacists extremely well. I can't recall any complications.

Thanks Marty,
Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving, too.
I don't know about no complications but at least, hopefully, we cause less than we prevent.
