OK - I got addicted. Made it to 340 but, the little basket going very fast up and down and diagonally across the screen gave me a headache. To say nothing of scrambling my last 7 eggs.:mad: :eek:

I have to stop - NOW, before my brain is scrambled even more than when I started this game.;)

Forget that. Now you will spend time trying to get to the finish, as fast as you can, with as many eggs in the dozen still there (you get bonus points for time and the number of eggs left). Trust me, that's where I am right now. Still addicted and I have finished way too many times.

I am still playing the game.:eek: :eek: :eek: I can truly say that I am addicted.:( :( My game has improved though and I've come as high as 340 after many attempts to get even higher. Has anyone gotten to the end of the game when you can't go any higher?:D :D

Yes, I have gotten to the end many times and am now trying to improve my time and the number of eggs left. The final score you get gives bonus points based on time and the eggs left. So far my best score is 1203. How addicted is that??????????:rolleyes:

Gina...Call me dumb but how do you get your score? I have never seen a score when I play. Let me in on your secret please?

Across the top of the screen as you play is the number of eggs left, the score and the time. If you finish the game, a screen comes up that lists the base score, a bonus for any eggs left, and a bonus based on how long it took you to finish. The screen disappears after a few seconds. I have managed to print the screen before it disappears but I haven't figured out how to save it.

I am still playing.:eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: Last night I got as high as 390 before I was out of eggs. Gina, I guess I've got a ways to go before I hit 1203.
I think that is amazing...Haven't figured out how to get there, but I will.

Christina I've been playing this game almost everyday since you posted it, now today I can't get it to come up. I had more fun with this game and had finally got to only 750. I've retyped site address but it still won't work. Can you still bring it up?

I just noticed yesterday that the game is no longer up. I was kind of bored that day and wanted to play again. I missed it. I hadn't played for a while because it wasn't challenging anymore because I have gotten really good after a lot of practise. :p :p :p I get to the end nearly every time with as many as 8 eggs left in the basket and a total score of 1361. :D :D
Now I want to try to get to the end with 12 eggs left in the basket. When I do I'll let you all know...

I just did a search on the internet for "The Amazing Dare Dozen" which is the name of the game.

BTW - the original site is back up.

My highest score is 1410. I finished without using up any eggs. However, I noticed it only gave me credit for having 10 eggs left so there is a glitch somewhere.

I am working on getting a higher score (only way now would be to figure out a faster way to finish) but I may have to be satisfied with the 1410 (which I am pretty proud of).

Definite addict here who needs to get a life.:D :D ;)

I just tried the link with Internet Explorer and got a blank page. The link works with Netscape 7.1 which I mostly use. If you are using IE, then maybe that is the problem.

I still can't get the page to load in IE but I have never tried before since I mostly use Netscape. The link still works on Netscape so, yes, this is pretty strange. Obviously they changed some kind of setting.

It's really making sure you don't wait once you send an egg to the next bowl. You have to take the next possible shot. Some of the steps require almost immediate release to the next bowl. If you start practicing knowing you will lose, you can find the fastest way. As far as not using any eggs, it took me awhile to do that, just practicing. I know that doesn't help much but I am not sure I can "map" the course because I can't figure out how to save the game in the middle.

And Glenda, you are right, the "new" site is very small. I can only get to the old one using Netscape. IE doesn't work any more for me, I only get a blank page.
