Hi everyone, I had a Maze operation over a year ago to stop the afib that I had for about 10 years , along with a valve replacement. When I went to the Dr., he said I was in Juntional Rhythm. I get so nervous with the doctor that I did not question this. Just what is Juntional Rhythm and is it dangerous? I put this post in the wrong place before , for I did not know how to post a new thread. Sorry about doing that. Now I know how to post to begin a new topic. Thanks all.

To be honest I never heard of it before today. I did google it though & found out "Tachyarrhythmias arising from the AV junction are common." This is from the American Heart Assn. site. http://www.americanheart.org/presenter.jhtml?identifier=746

Hope this helps a bit - you really should contact your doctor & find out what it means in your particular situation.
