Had checkup with cardio today (5.5 months post-op) and all is very well. Still clicking, no leaking, no arrythmia, blood pressure ok, & general healing going well. :) :) :)

Told him I had found a support group to answer a lot of questions & guide me through the fear of warfarin. He was delighted - wanted to know about vr.com so he could give the info to other patients.

All in all, a good day.

I'm very happy for you. You sound like you are doing wonderfully - and I think you have a gem of a cardiologist - to ask about VR.com and to want to pass the info along to his other patients - that is almost unheard of - a western doctor with some eastern medicine leanings. :)

Wow...sounds like a great checkup, Cris ... congrats!

As for your cardio wanting to know more about vr.com ... even better! Sure hope he was sincere about that because I strongly believe that the more doctors/cardiologists support websites like these, the less people will feel "all alone" and thus will feel more comfortable about their own condition ... and more relaxed about procedures they have to endure....
