Clearing throat all the time

Since OHS I have had "flem in my throat" always clearing my throat, I did not notice this as much since I had other health issues with recovery. Has anyone experienced this? I hope I spelled "flem" correctly. My PCP said that it was due to the trach tube during surgery. He said that it will take time to clear up.

I would appreciate hearing if anyone else has/had experienced this.

Yup it's common. I think it's also a side effect of anesthesia.
