Everyone:
Thanks everyone for your posts and replies. It has been helpful to have you all on our journey. Ed having AVR surgery and bypass on Sept. 12. He is going pig valve. We feel very fortunate to have discovered this website at just the right moment. We also feel fortunate that the wait for surgery has not been long. Just 8 days to go. So far he has a great attitude. Just wants to get it over with as he is very tired. Thanks again. I know we'll be drawing on your inspiration during recovery as well.
