Every now and then I have another go at getting an avatar without success. I try making the picture all different sizes, including very small.
Should it be in some special format to work?
Any other ideas on what I may be doing/not doing?

Hi Gillian,
I use a program called Aldobe Photo Deluxe. I put the picture in JPG format. The most important thing is to set the size of the picture to under 100 pixels on its longest size. Photo Deluxe has a pull down for size from which you can bring up a screen called photo size. I change the measurment to pixels and set the longest side to 100 pixels. Hope this helps. Let me know if I can be of any more help.
