You guys will just have to humor me. It is so cool here in Michigan and for once it is not the winter temps. Both the men and women's basketball teams are in the Final Four now!

The women play Tennessee on Sunday and the guys play North Carolina on Saturday. Good luck kids.

We're cheering right there with you. Our daughter is a Spartan. She's coming home Thursday in order to do her life guard recertification on Friday and is taking the train back to East Lansing on Saturday morning so she doesn't miss watching the game with her friends.

We watched the women's game last night. Stanford put up a fight.

Here in Illinois we will have trouble to pay if Spartan men end up meeting Illinois in the finals. There are U of I flags flying everywhere in our neighborhood.

Our nephew was a student at State during the infamous riots. We're hoping the same thing doesn't happen.

Karilyn, the officials and student government are really working at keeping everyone's head cool. They were pretty much just a jolly group of kids having fun after the KY game. I agree with you; I hope the troublemakers stay home. At the last riots, many of the ringleaders were not even MSU students.

Enjoy that double Final Four status, Spartans fans. Your teams' runs will end when they meet the Lady Vols and the Tarheels.

Hi Jean,

I'll be watching the games too. My husband and I both lived in Michigan as kids and he went to Michigan State. Our cheers will be for the tarheels though. We live in NC now and our oldest son went to UNC and lived in the same dormitory/apartment building that many of the players did. ACC basketball has been our late winter/early spring entertainment ever since.

Go tarheels!
