This is a link to the article written by Dr. Enriquez-Sarano. I certainly wish that this information was available at the time I was diagnosed. I would have gone to the Clev. Clinic earlier and been evaluated.

I emailed to Dr. Sarano my thanks to him for his research and expressed to him what Kathy stated above. Let hope the cardiologist will take his advice and send people to the surgeon instead of "managing" the pt. with drugs till enlargement damages the heart forever.
Even the great surgeons at CC can only do so much when the situation
has been left go.
