Eddie Update

Thanks for all your prayers and concerns regarding the surgery. It was a great success and the whole SICU is bragging on how great a patient Eddie has been. He is off the ventilator and is talking and joking. The heart has already begun to shrink in size, according to his doctors. He has really done marvelously. Should be moved to a room by Friday evening.

i've been away and just returned from vacation. i'm so glad to hear eddie is doing so nicely. i wish you both the best and hope to keep hearing good news on his recovery. what a wonderful way to start the new year, don'tyou think?
